As 100% owner of HASTCO Construction she leads the TEAM in the role of C.O.O. Nancy brings to the company 34+ years of experience and knowledge of ownership and management of commercial construction and utility companies. Her hands-on approach to management is the guiding force behind HASTCO Construction. Under Nancy’s direction the company is focusing on new opportunities with Government projects. She is responsible for overall administration, policy, goals and development for the company. She works closely with other key management personnel to keep the company on task and focused on the long term objectives.

A Nebraska native, United States Air Force veteran and husband of 34 years to Nancy. Prior to HASTCO Construction, Art was Vice-President of Marketing for 23+ years with a major construction company in Lawrence, Kansas. He serves as President of HASTCO Construction, and with his extensive design/build experience is responsible for locating potential clients, assessing the client’s needs, planning projects, project budgeting/estimating and constructing facilities to meet the client’s needs. He is overall in charge of sales, marketing and production.

A Bachelor of Science in Business degree and over 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry tackling the responsibilities of office management, human resources, accounting, project management, marketing and business ownership. This knowledge and experience is used daily in the current responsibilities as Vice President of HASTCO Construction.

A mid-western native with a BS in Accounting from Kansas State University and nearly 25 years experience in the accounting field give Cary a well rounded background to smoothly handle the responsibilities as Controller for HASTCO Construction. Cary understands the importance of being a TEAM player and works closely with the Estimators, Project Managers and Accounting Staff as well as the customers, suppliers and subcontractors as he knows they are all vital parts of the TEAM and success of HASTCO Construction.

As the friendly voice on the phone and the smiling face at the front door, Kristy is the first impression of HASTCO Construction. She handles the receptionist duties as well as customer support, employee relations and human resource assistant. Always ready and willing to take on a challenge she is being trained to assist more in accounting.

From age 15 working as a construction laborer, attending architectural school at the University of Kansas (BArch 1989), and working as Architectural Designer at HASTCO Construction since January 1993; Mike has developed the skills to work effectively with estimators, engineers, and architects to produce building plans that meet or exceed the client’s needs. As one of HASTCO’s LEED® A.P.’s on staff, Michael is responsible for design and implementation of the GREEN building practices.

Having worked as a laborer, foreman and most recently a construction manager for a major retail chain, Brian has extensive experience in HVAC, steel erection, steel framing construction and general contracting. His numerous years of hands- on construction experience make him a perfect fit as HASTCO Construction’s Lead Estimator.

Having a life long involvement in the construction field; from father, grandfather and uncles; 15 years of hand-on experience from labor, foreman, superintendent; to founding a metal building roofing company he now finds himself at the foremost of his career as a Project Coordinator/Estimator for HASTCO Construction.

Practical experience in industrial steel and iron production, transportation, warehousing, and commercial and industrial construction over the past 30 years has given Wes a solid preparation for his position as Project Coordinator for HASTCO Construction. Wes is also one of HASTCO’s GREEN building experts having passed the Green Building Council Certification and attaining the title of LEED® A.P. He was instrumental in the paperwork process for LEED Platinum Certification (the highest level possible) for John Deere BTI-Greensburg.

Having grown up in the construction industry from working for a father who owned a steel erection business to ownership of a door and window installation company and everything in-between. The years of hands-on and varied construction experiences have groomed him for the current position of General Superintendent with the responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the field including employees, subcontractors and customer relations.

From laborer to superintendent Virgil has climbed the construction ladder the past 15 years bringing with him a diverse range of skills and knowledge in all aspects of commercial construction.
