Roof and Wall Treatments TPO Roof System with Pre-Finished Smart Siding and Stone Veneer.
Special Features: SIP’s (structural insulated panels) exterior wall system with an R-24.7 insulation value that provides a superior insulation factor and savings of two weeks construction labor. The TPO, Smart Siding and Stone Veneer provide a virtually maintenance free exterior. Building is total electric with an air source heat pump for heating and cooling. A solar tube was installed in the lobby for natural lighting. The building was designed and constructed to meet Energy Star Ratings.
End Use: New facility for the foundation offices.
Special Needs: Energy efficient design. A poured concrete wall and ceiling Safe Room for records and emergency shelter.
Client: An education foundation established by the late R. E. French as a means to help graduating high school students in East Central Kansas further their education through scholarships and grants.
