Special Features: Building is split into bay spacing mods of 40’ x 40’. Each building mod is designed to support two 60 ton cranes. Walls are lined full height floor to ceiling. Roof fuller lined on under side of purlins.

End Use: This building is being attached to Building K and will accommodate 16 weld stalls. Design building to meet FM 190 Global. Height requirements for crane hook heights.

Client: Caterpillar Global Work Tools, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpil- lar Inc., located in Wamego, Kansas is one of only three Caterpillar facilities that manufactures and builds front end attachments for the Cat track equip- ment sold throughout the world. Once this facility is operational, it is expected to increase Caterpillar’s employment in Wamego by about 120 positions bring- ing the total workforce in Wamego to more than 500 people.
