Brian Murphy comes from an extensive construction background; having worked as a laborer, foreman and most recently a construction manager for a major retail chain. Brian’s experience is in HVAC, steel erection, steel frame construction and general contracting. His numerous years of hands on construction experience make him the perfect selection for HASTCO Construction’s Lead Estimator/Project Manager.
The Project Manager/Estimator's essential function is to estimate and manage the daily details of the project, including purchases, subcontracting, changes and coordination of office and field activities during the construction period.

The Project Manager/Estimator's primary
function consists of the following:

Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources which includes efficient coordination of field and office activities on assigned projects, including job scheduling activities.
|
|
|
Accurate estimating of project assigned.
|
|
|
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
|
|
|
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
|
|
|
Purchasing materials and subcontracts economically and expeditiously for projects assigned.
|
|
|
Company liaison with Client/Owner, Architect and Engineer.
|
